I compare my writing to the process of creating a garden. You start with very basic materials and by combining them, you create something completely different.
If you plant the seeds to early, or too late, you will miss out on the intended outcome. Writing a paper, for me, is not a quick and effortless process. I have to pick my topic, and give it amount of time to be researched. There are many different components that go into my writing process, just like tending to a garden. I tend to my papers the way a gardener tends to their flowers, with extreme attention and care.
I like your topic. It really is a cool way of looking at writing and very true.
